Privacy Policy

Last updated August 29, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how YUANCHARM handles personal information in the current storefront experience. We use information for a specific reason, keep browser-only features separate from order records, and update this notice when a new data flow or service is introduced.

Our data collection and practices

YUANCHARM's Privacy Policy explains what information is used by the store, what remains in your browser, and why a service provider may receive information during checkout or account support. We collect only what is reasonably connected to the feature you choose to use.

The rights described below apply to the extent required by the laws that apply to you. Nothing in this policy is intended to remove a privacy right that cannot lawfully be removed.

What information do we collect?

The information we handle depends on whether you browse, save a product, place an order, ask for account access, or contact customer care. It may include identifiers and commercial information that you provide directly, together with limited information generated by the service needed to keep a transaction secure.

  • Contact and delivery details: first name, last name, email address, optional phone number, country or region, state or province, postal code, city, street address, and apartment or address-line details.
  • Order and commercial details: the products, quantities, selected wrist-size or fit option, SKU or variant, price, discount or coupon code, shipping amount, currency, payment status, fulfillment status, tracking details when available, and the order number.
  • Customer-care messages: the email address and any information you choose to include when asking about a product, order, return, delivery, or other support matter.
  • Account-access details: the checkout email used to request a six-digit verification code, a short-lived verification-code record, and a time-limited session that lets you view orders placed with that email. The account flow is passwordless and does not create a separate password profile.
  • Technical and security information: information a browser or hosting environment may provide during a request, such as IP address, browser or device characteristics, requested page, date and time, and diagnostic or security information. Where the account service is connected, an obscured IP representation may be used for rate limiting rather than advertising.

Information kept in your browser

Several storefront features are designed to work locally on your device. In the current preview, these values are not a server-side customer profile and are not sent to YUANCHARM merely because you browse the site.

  • Cart and gift settings: product, variant, quantity, gift-recipient choice, and any gift note you enter are saved in browser storage so the cart can survive navigation. The current checkout request sends the order items and delivery details needed to quote and create an order; the local gift settings remain a browser feature unless a later checkout implementation explicitly includes them.
  • Wishlist and display preferences: saved product IDs, selected display currency, language preference, and cookie-consent choice are stored locally for your convenience.
  • Product reviews: the current product-review form saves the name, rating, date, and review text on that device only. It is not a server-submitted review system in this preview, so a review entered here is not automatically published for other shoppers.
  • YUAN FATE tools: profile details, questions, and generated reflective results are processed in the browser in the current preview. A share action can place a result in browser storage and encode the selected result in a share URL; anyone who receives that URL may be able to read the information included in it.

How do we collect information?

You provide most order and support information directly. We may also receive information from the browser, the payment provider, the account email provider, the hosting or database service, or a delivery service when those services are used to operate the feature you requested.

  • When you submit checkout details, request a price quote, apply a discount code, or place an order.
  • When you request a passwordless account code, verify that code, view order history, sign out, or open an order-tracking view.
  • When you email customer care or otherwise choose to send us a message.
  • When you use browser storage, cookies, or similar technologies for cart continuity, preferences, consent, account sessions, or a local preview tool.
  • When a provider sends information back to confirm payment, order creation, capture, refund, delivery, or another transaction event.

How will we use your information?

We use personal information for the purpose for which you provided it and for closely related operational purposes. We do not use the YUAN FATE inputs or ordinary shopping preferences to make decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, health care, or other eligibility.

  • To calculate a quote, process an order, confirm payment, arrange DDP delivery, provide tracking information, handle returns or refunds, and keep an accurate order record.
  • To provide passwordless access to orders associated with the verified checkout email and to keep that account session secure.
  • To answer questions, provide customer care, investigate delivery or quality concerns, and communicate about an order or request you made.
  • To maintain the safety, security, and integrity of the storefront, commerce endpoints, account service, databases, and related technology, including rate limiting and fraud or abuse prevention.
  • To remember local choices such as currency, wishlist, cart, consent, and other browser-only preferences.
  • To understand and improve the product presentation, content, and shopping flow using information available for that purpose. As of this update, no GA4 measurement ID, advertising pixel, web beacon, or behavioral-advertising integration is configured in the storefront preview.
  • To comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, protect rights and property, or support a business transfer where permitted.

When may we share information?

We may share the minimum information needed with service providers that act for us or provide a service you request. Those providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy notices and the instructions or legal obligations that apply to the service.

  • Payment and checkout providers, including PayPal, to authorize or capture payment, return transaction status, prevent payment fraud, and complete the order.
  • Hosting, database, security, and technical providers that keep the commerce service available and protect its requests and records.
  • Email providers used by the account service, currently designed to use a server-side provider such as Resend, to deliver a one-time sign-in code when account access is enabled.
  • Delivery, customs, and fulfillment partners when information is necessary to ship an order, provide tracking, or handle a delivery issue.
  • Authorities, advisers, or a successor business when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect people, property, security, or the operation of the business.
  • A third party when you ask us to share information or otherwise give permission for that disclosure.

Sale and behavioral advertising

YUANCHARM does not sell personal information for money. In the current storefront preview, we also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not configured advertising pixels, web beacons, or an advertising-partner audience system. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any opt-out or other controls required by applicable law.

Payment information

Payment information is handled in the payment-provider flow. PayPal is the currently identified checkout provider, and the public checkout only presents payment methods when the provider configuration and eligibility checks allow them.

  • YUANCHARM's order database records transaction and payment status, currency, totals, and provider references needed to reconcile the order; it does not store complete payment-card numbers.
  • When card fields, Apple Pay, or Google Pay are enabled by a confirmed provider configuration, the relevant payment details are entered through the provider's hosted or provider-controlled component rather than saved by YUANCHARM as complete card data.
  • The payment provider's own privacy policy governs its handling of payment credentials and other information it collects directly from you.

How do we store and retain information?

We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose described here, including order fulfillment, customer support, returns, refunds, accounting, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Retention can differ by information type and by the law that applies.

  • Order records and order items may be retained after delivery so we can support returns, refunds, customer-care requests, accounting, fraud review, and legal requirements.
  • One-time account codes are short-lived and are consumed after successful use; account sessions are time-limited and can be revoked when you sign out or when the session expires.
  • Customer-care correspondence may be retained for as long as needed to answer the request and preserve a reliable support history.
  • Browser-only values remain on your device until the browser, site settings, or you remove them. Clearing them can remove your cart, wishlist, local reviews, preferences, or local share report.

Security of your data

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards for the information handled by the storefront and commerce service. These include same-origin checks for commerce and account requests, rate limits for verification-code requests, protected representations of account codes and session tokens on the server, and provider-controlled payment fields where available.

No transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot promise absolute security, but we investigate and respond to suspected unauthorized access in accordance with applicable law.

Cookies, browser storage, and web beacons

Cookies are small files that a site or provider can place in a browser. Similar browser storage can serve a comparable functional purpose without being a cookie. Web beacons and pixels can be used to measure page or email activity, but they are not configured in the current storefront preview.

  • Functional browser storage is used for the cart, gift settings, wishlist, display preferences, local reviews, consent choice, and local YUAN FATE results.
  • When the account service is connected, a session cookie can keep you signed in to order history. It is designed to be HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, with Secure required in the live HTTPS environment.
  • The current cookie-consent choice is recorded locally so the banner can remember whether you accepted or declined it. The current preview does not use that choice to enable an advertising system.
  • Checkout may load a payment-provider script only on the checkout route and only for a payment capability that is actually configured and eligible. Google Pay or Apple Pay scripts are not loaded when those capabilities are disabled.

How can you manage cookies and browser storage?

You can use your browser settings to block or remove cookies and site storage. You can also clear individual site data from the browser's privacy controls. Because the current cart, wishlist, display preferences, local reviews, and consent choice use browser storage, clearing it may reset those features. Clearing an account session may require you to request a new verification code.

Marketing and the newsletter preview

We may contact you with product news or other marketing only when you have asked to receive it or when another lawful basis permits it. You can stop requested marketing by using the unsubscribe instruction in the message or by emailing [email protected] with your name, email address, and request.

At the time of this update, the newsletter form shown in the footer is a presentation-only preview and is not connected to a mailing-list provider or a server-side subscriber database. It should not be treated as confirmation that you have joined a mailing list. If a live subscription service is added, this policy will be updated to describe it.

International processing and transfers

YUANCHARM is based in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China and serves international customers. Depending on the feature, information may be processed in China or in another country where YUANCHARM or a payment, email, hosting, database, security, or delivery provider operates. Data-protection rules can differ between countries. We use safeguards and contractual or other measures required by applicable law for an international transfer.

What are your privacy rights?

Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you and how it is used, or to request a change to how we handle it. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some information may need to be kept for an order, legal obligation, security purpose, or other exception recognized by law.

  • Access or know: request confirmation of whether we process your personal information and, where required, obtain a copy or a description of the relevant categories and purposes.
  • Correction: ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Deletion or erasure: ask us to delete information, subject to lawful exceptions such as completing a transaction, protecting security, or keeping records required by law.
  • Restriction: ask us to limit processing in circumstances recognized by applicable law.
  • Objection: object to certain processing, including direct marketing, where the law gives you that right.
  • Portability: request a usable copy of certain information that you provided, where a portability right applies.
  • Withdraw consent: withdraw consent for a consent-based use, without affecting processing that already occurred lawfully or processing based on another legal ground.
  • Equal treatment: exercise a privacy right without unlawful discrimination.

California residents

If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to our relationship with you, California residents may have rights to know, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, limit the use of sensitive personal information, and receive equal treatment. Our current preview does not sell or share personal information for behavioral advertising, but you may still contact us with an applicable request.

The categories that may be relevant to this storefront include identifiers and contact details, customer-record information such as address and phone number, commercial information about orders, and internet or device activity. This list describes categories that can arise from the features above; it does not mean every example is collected from every visitor.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom users

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or a similar data-protection law applies, you may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent, together with the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Depending on the context, processing may be needed to perform an order or requested service, comply with a legal obligation, protect the site, or pursue a legitimate operational interest; marketing or optional local features may rely on your choice where required.

How to exercise a privacy right

Email [email protected] with the subject or opening line 'Privacy request' and tell us which right you want to exercise. Include the email address associated with the order or account and enough context for us to locate the request, but do not send payment-card numbers, account passwords, or verification codes by email.

We will confirm, investigate, and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If we cannot complete a request, we will explain the reason and any available next step. You may also contact the data-protection authority or other regulator in your place of residence where the law gives you that option.

Children's privacy

The storefront is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required by local law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children for independent account or purchase use. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and delete it when the law requires.

Third-party websites and services

The storefront may link to third-party sites or services, including payment, social, delivery, or other external destinations. This Privacy Policy applies to YUANCHARM's storefront and services described here, not to a third party's independent processing. Review the privacy notice of each external service before providing information there.

Data-breach notification

If we discover a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate, contain, and remediate it. We will notify affected people, regulators, or other parties when and as required by applicable law, taking into account the nature of the incident and the risk involved.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may revise this policy when the storefront, checkout, account service, providers, or applicable law changes. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new update date. You should review this page periodically, especially before submitting information through a newly introduced feature.
